History of Ippolita
Italian artist and designer, Ippolita Rostagno, established a revolutionary line of fine jewelry in 1999. As a young girl, wandering around the shops on Ponte Vecchio, Ippolita found herself falling in love with Florentine-style costume jewelry. This fascination is what later sparked inspiration within the young artist and that’s how the aesthetic of the Ippolita brand was born.
Encompassing mirror-like metals, as well as colored gemstones, the Ippolita jewelry brand was launched directly into the world of luxury fashion. Effortlessly creating high-quality masterpieces with a relaxed feel, Ippolita earrings, bracelets, necklaces, and rings continue to serve as precious tokens for women of all different walks of life.
Italian customs play a major role in the shaping of the Ippolita brand. An eccentric crossbreed of regal design and modest style make up the pieces in her collection. Each design showcases a nostalgic resemblance of the architecture found in several Italian cities. As the talented artist she is, Ippolita found herself bewildered by a sculpture at the Instituto d’ Arte in Florence, Italy. During these five years of studying the art of sculpting, she became an expert in the necessary balance between quality craftsmanship and expressive creativity.
