History of Breitling

Tracing its roots all the way back to 1884, Leon Breitling embarked on his journey of designing and creating pocket watches and other measuring tools in Switzerland. The unparalleled quality and precision of these chronographs led them to become adopted by scientists and military personnel, which are both industries that require a high level of accuracy. In the late 1970’s, the beloved Breitling family sold the company to a skillful pilot and watchmaker, Ernest Schneider, who took the brand to insurmountable heights.
