History of Penny Preville
Penny Preville launched her designer collection almost forty-five years ago as the product of a determined woman who had a passion for jewelry from a very young age. Penny remembers rummaging through her grandmother’s jewelry box and playing with her vintage jewels.
By the 1970’s, she decided it was time for her to embark on a journey that would later make her one of the most highly-coveted jewelry designers. Starting out, Penny was creating simple beaded pieces with feather details. It wasn’t long after that the designer began working with precious metals and colored gemstones to really amplify the elegance of her pieces to create signature vintage looks!
Penny Preville expressed that her main goal was to create jewelry that she could wear. She wanted the modern-day woman, much like herself, to be able to wear vintage jewels that felt romantic, but also fit into a contemporary lifestyle. This unique approach to jewelry design launched her into the spotlight, eventually winning the WJA Award for Excellence in Design and the Town and Country Couture Diamond Designer’s Excellence Award. However, Penny, being the humbled and talented designer that she is, finds the greatest praise in the joy she brings to multi-faceted women just like her.
