HALLANDALE BEACH, FL (August 15, 2011) – Warren Henry Automotive Group and Arthur E. Benjamin/Ameican Dog Rescue were gracious supporters to NFL great and NFL Network analyst Marshall Faulk’s exclusive South Florida Pro Football Hall of Fame Induction Celebration which raised over $40,000 for the Marshall Faulk Foundation on August, 10, 2011, at The Playwright Irish Pub in The Village At Gulfstream Park.

The exclusive event featured a glamorous red carpet arrival and meet and greet with the seven-time NFL Pro Bowl running back along with other sports celebrities and VIPs, including Michael Irvin, Lawrence Taylor, Cornelius Bennett, Isaac Bruce, Noel Bosh (father of Chris Bosh), and more. Guests enjoyed a sports-themed evening of signature cocktails and hors d’ oeuvres, cigar lounge and more, all in the company of some of pro football’s greatest legends. The raffle and live auction of sports memorabilia and luxury items, including a $6,000 time piece generously donated by King Jewelers, a one-of-a-kind Faulk autographed jersey and Hall of Fame football, and many other items for Faulk’s foundation fundraiser. Through his foundation, Faulk is dedicated to improving the quality of life for youth by increasing opportunities for them to lead healthy, fulfilling lives.

“I’m from New Orleans, played football in St. Louis, but I consider South Florida home, and that’s why I chose the Playwright Irish Pub in Gulfstream Park for my Hall of Fame victory lap,” said Faulk. “Tonight, so many generous people helped me raise funds for my foundation, and I could not be more grateful for their support.”

“He is the reason football is played the way it is being played today,” said close friend and football great, Michael Irvin of Faulk. “He could be doing this event anywhere in any community, but while he was here, people were good to him, and he is showing the love back.”

Sponsors for the evening’s event included Warren Henry Automotive Group; Arthur Benjamin/American Dog Rescue; The Playwright Irish Pub and The Village at Gulfstream Park; King Jewelers and Ebel Watches; Opustone Granite & Marble Distributors; Brotman Nusbaum & Fox Law; THINK Magazine; and more.

Arguably the game’s greatest combination runner and pass receiver, Faulk’s hall of fame career reached its pinnacle in 2000 when he was named NFL’s Most Valuable Player and led the St. Louis Rams to victory in Super Bowl XXXIV. After retiring from the NFL following the 2006 season, Faulk embarked on a career in broadcasting where he will enter his fifth season as an analyst this fall for the NFL Network. Faulk was enshrined into the Pro Football Hall of Fame on August 6th in Canton, OH.
