Blue sky, warm sun, a fine dusting of pollen coating your car . . . there’s no doubt that spring is here. Along with the warm weather and blooming flowers, Lexus Nashville Fashion Week has finally arrived! After being trapped in doors for the last few months, nothing clears out the winter gloom like a whole week dedicated to new colors and styles.
This year Fashion Week runs from March 20th to March 24th. While some of the trends exhibited may stem from New York Fashion Week, rest assured that this fashion show has its own Nashville flair featuring local and regional design stars and vendors.
Some of the trends you can expect to see and this year’s Nashville Fashion Week are florals prints, soft and detailed designs, and a mix of 1920s and 1950s silhouettes, according to Nashville Lifestyles. Below are five fashion-forward looks that the magazine has collected that we’ve matched with a few jewelry selections that fit into the season’s looks.1) Floral Prints
This look is the epitome of spring, with its soft floral patterns and bright spring green pants. We’ve paired this look with chunky gold accessories. The stacked bangle bracelets and stacked cuff bracelets were popular at New York Fashion Week this year as well as chandelier earrings. This look includes Roberto Coin Martellato Bangle Bracelets, Roberto Coin Martellato Hammered Gold Cocktail Ring, and King Jewelers Bezel Set Diamond Chandelier Earrings.2) Feminine Looks
Layering is also very much in tune with what we’ve been seeing on the runway. This soft look also has a bite with that eye-catching red cardigan. Coordinate unexpected pops of color to breathe new life into old looks. Because the dress is such a strong look, we’ve used cleaner accessories like the Marco Bicego Siviglia Dangle Earrings, King Jewelers Diamond Strip Cocktail Ring, and the King Jewelers Mixed Rose-Cut Gemstone Cuff.3) Retro Silhouettes
This fun look is a blast from the past! Retro designs were popular in jewelry as well as clothing designs this year. We’re drawn to the clean, geometric lines in this look. And what’s more classic than a set of pearls? We prefer a simple pair of Mikimoto Pearl Studs and a Mikimoto Pearl and Diamond Pendant.
