Baselworld 2012 Spotlight: Breitling for Bentley GMT V8 Limited Edition Watch

But Breitling takes accessorizing to a whole new level with their latest Baselworld release, the Breitling for Bentley GMT Chronograph modeled after the king of luxury cars, the Bentley Continental GT V8. One look at this watch and you can tell that Breitling and Bentley are a match made in heaven. The Breitling GMT V8 is being released to honor the launch of Bentley’s new Continental V8 with a new 4.0 V8 engine.

This sporty-looking watch is similar to many of Breitling’s chronograph GMT watches. The watch has the capability of keeping time for multiple time zones, indicated by a special GMT hand on the dial, which is an important feature for anyone who travels frequently. The 30-second chronograph has a sweeping second hand that allows the watch to be accurate up to 1/8th of a second. Like all of Breitling’s watch movements, this watch is COSC chronometer certified.

Useful features aside, one of the most striking aspects of this watch is the inner cherry-red bezel marked with 24 city names in contrast to the matte black dial and the stainless steel engine turned bezel. It’s a beautiful watch that packs a punch and it will be released in a limited edition of 250 pieces.
