The Initial Consult

A very special client visited our Aventura jewelry store with an idea for a custom statement ring. The criteria: a cushion cut emerald center stone, with two half-moon side stones, and a diamond halo, all set in platinum. Scott King, CEO and President of King Jewelers, quickly started to design how all of these elements would come together.

The Design Process

During the jewelry design process, King Jewelers seeks our clients’ approval every step of the way. Throughout the creation of this custom ring, Mr. King made sure the client could envision the end result by sharing sketches of the ring and videos of the gemstones. Once the client approved the design and budget, it was time to get to work.

Mr. King lays out the emerald and diamonds in a video to client to show the color and size of the gemstones.

Ring Creation

Creating a custom ring requires advanced skill and precision. As a GIA Graduate Gemologist for over fifty years, Mr. King was prepared for the job ahead of him. Each stone was placed with expert attention to detail. After making sure everything was just right, Mr. King presented the final product to the client.

Final Product

Our client was thrilled to see her vision come to life. It was her dream ring. A stunning 7.19-carat emerald was set between two half-moon diamonds and surrounded by a diamond halo. An additional hidden diamond halo was set beneath the center mounting. This one-of-a-kind custom ring will be cherished for a lifetime.

Side Stones: 2 G VS2 Half-Moon Diamonds Totaling 0.90ct

Diamond Halo: 0.85ct Diamonds

Hidden Diamond Halo: 0.22ct Diamonds
