Homeland has become Showtime’s most successful rookie show in its history and has shown a sharp increase in its viewership since its launch last October. The hit show is lightly based on a Isaraeli series called Prisoners of War. It’s a psychological thriller that tells the story of a CIA officer (Claire Danes) battling her suspicions and a troubling sense of personal guilt.

Her suspicions are of a prisoner of war who returned to his family after 8 years in captivity in Iraq has turned into an enemy. The series engages the audience in an array of mind games that continues to captivate your desire for finding the answer. Claire Danes has successfully made it a must-watch series.
