Hublot Releases New F1 King Power Austin Watch For The 2012 Formula 1 Grand Prix

This November 18th the Formula 1 Grand Prix makes its triumphant return to the United States set to take place in Austin, Texas. The last Grand Prix to take place in the U.S. was back in 2007 in Indianapolis. In honor of this event at the new “Circuit of the Americas” Hublot has designed a special commemorative watch named the F1 King Power Austin in a limited edition of 250 piece.

The F1 King Power Austin has drawn inspiration from the Formula 1 race itself, with a titanium case, carbon and titanium bezel, a perforated satin-finish, and a vibrant red dial with a chronograph function. This was designed to be lightweight, durable, and the complete embodiment of the Formula 1 spirit. The strap is a sleek looking black Hornback alligator leather sewn onto rubber, accented with red stitching to draw back into the design of the dial.
