On September 19th, the Nashville Zoo hosted their annual Sunset Safari event. King Jewelers had the opportunity to attend as a benefactor and show our support! David King, along with his wife Kristy, attended the event together to represent the King Jeweler brand. The two of them have always been passionate about sponsoring causes that pertain to the ethical preservation of wildlife.

What the Nashville Zoo Means to King Jewelers

The Nashville Zoo is home to over 350 different animal species and a trending attraction to local children and visiting tourists. David and Kristy, love bonding with their three-year-old son, Mason and their 10-month old daughter Olivia at the Nashville Zoo. Teaching Mason and Olivia to have a positive relationship with animals along with the importance of taking care of the environment has always been a priority for their family. As annual pass-holders, the couple wanted to take maintain their involvement on a more intimate level, which is why they are so proud to make a generous donation to this philanthropic cause.

The Nashville Zoo’s mission is to inspire a culture of understanding and discovery of our natural world for children and adults. Through conservation, innovation, and leadership, these values are adjacent to those of the King family for over 100 years. The King’s hope that their children to grow up discovering, exploring and loving nature and all it has to offer. David and Kristy King want to pass down the essential importance of learning to conserve the land and protect animals and their habitats.
