New Timepiece: Concord C1 Radar

The latest release from Concord is the C1 Radar; with raised hour-markers, it displays a perfect calibration of time within an environment that blends innovative design and sophisticated technology.

The robust case construction is illustrated by its black PVD-treated steel frame and its bezel that is straddled by eight black rubber-clad protective tabs, secured by side screws and forming a rampart around the 3.3mm-thick sapphire crystal topping the dial.

The dial simulates a horological “aircraft,” with contrasts and depth effects to ensure optimal readability. The minutes hand stands out by gliding under the 3D hour-markers that hover above the dial. Enhanced by superluminova treatment, the hour markers act like landing strips and echo the other luminescent elements such as the date display and the tip of the small seconds disc.

This muscular model features an automatic mechanism with a 44-hour power reserve, in addition to a rugged khaki-colored technofiber strap.
