Roger Dubuis Introduces the New Action Inspired Pulsion Watch Collection

Earlier this year Roger Dubuis had began a new series of unique timepieces that characterizes itself by representing its individual world that it derives from. There is a collection called the Excalibur collection which represents a universe of knights and dragons. For the casino aficionado there is the Monegasque collection that represents the games of the powerful intellectuals. For the ladies they have recreated a fairytale world turned dark and ominous with hidden secrets and mysteries which is represented very well by the Velvet collection.

Recently Roger Dubuis introduced the Pulsion. The Pulsion represents a new action packed world of lasers, spies, and thrilling heists. This is the timepiece that pushes its design elements and experiments very well with its structure and material. One of the first thing you will notice in this collection that truly distinguishes itself is the unique sapphire crystal. It is screwed down and extends over the sides of the case to serve as the bezel as well. The case is still water resistant up to 100 meters and the numerals are easy to read and seem to be engraved underneath the crystal and enhanced with a luminescent material.

The 44mm wide Pulsion conforms very nicely to your wrist with the comfortable rubber strap. Although there does not seem to be a metal bracelet option, the rubber straps are uniquely offered in alternating finishes. The Pulsion case itself it offered in a titanium version and a 18k rose gold option. There are a total of 2 different versions of the Pulsion with different movements currently being offered for 2012. Two of which contain the very well known super skeletonized caliber RD505SQ which is a manually wound flying tourbillon movement and the other two containing the standard chronograph movement RD680 which can also be found in other models such as the Monegasque. The chronograph Pulsion will be available in three models with two in titanium (one with black DLC coating) and the third in 18k rose gold. Both of these movements are bare the Seal of Geneva and are COSC certified.
