This Seiko Prospex LX Sky is an extremely limited edition timepiece with only 400 pieces produced. This design was inspired by Seiko’s 1968 professional divers watch. Seiko’s Prospex line dedicates themselves to celebrating sports watches. This timepiece incorporates both past and present features established by Seiko. This Prospex LX Sky uses a Spring Drive movement that was tested by astronaut Richard Garriott in the International Space Station. The blue and black graduated dial pays tribute to space exploration.

This limited edition Seiko Prospex divers watch is a recreation of the iconic Seiko timepiece created in 1975. The Seiko Tuna was originally created for offshore commercial divers. This watch was Seiko’s response to issues with crystals popping out due to helium build up. Instead of a helium release valve, Seiko uses patented gaskets and seals to guarantee helium will not enter the watch. This Seiko Prospex uses a two layer case construction, which features ceramic surrounding the titanium and ever-brilliant steel case. This watch is a must have for divers because of its 1000 meter water resistance and the perfect collectors item because there are only 1,100 Seiko Prospex (SLA041) watches in the world!
