SIHH Spotlight: Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Ultra Thin Jubilee Watch

Jaeger-LeCoultre seems to never fail to impress and break boundaries. For this year’s SIHH they have released the Master Ultra Thin Jubilee. It is the world’s thinnest manually-winding mechanical wristwatch. The inspiration of the Master Ultra Thin Jubilee was actually from another one of the manufactures’ record breaking timepiece created in 1907. Only this piece was a manually-wound mechanical pocket-watch and is still to this day the world’s thinnest manually-wound mechanical pocket watch.

The new Master Ultra Thin Jubilee has a very minimalistic look with a bright white dial, dauphine-style hands and extremely thin hour markers that successfully accents the slim aesthetics of the watch. The case is made of platinum that is only 4.05mm thick. Inside the platinum case you will find the remarkable 1.85mm thick movement, JLC Calibre 849.

This watch is paired perfectly with a blue crocodile leather strap and may be purchased alone or as part of an identically numbered 3-watch Jubilee set that includes JLC Master Grande Tradition Gyrotourbillon 3 Jubilee and the JLC Master Grande Tradition Tourbillon Cylindrique.
