The Breitling Montbrilliant 01 Limited Watch

Breitling has released a new edition to the Montbrilliant family. The new Breitling Montbrilliant 01 Limited watch is furnished with the Caliber 01 for the first time, Breitling’s high performance movement developed entire in-house. This latest Breitling has a chic industrial design inspired by the 1940’s and 1950’s and is equipped with a circular slide rule feature for pilots. The Montbrilliant watch is named after the building in La Chaux-de-Fonds on Montbrilliant street where the Breitling workshops developed some of the most innovative improvements for the wristwatch chronograph.

The Montbrilliant family is the last Breitling collection to receive a watch edition including the newly developed 01 Caliber movement since it was released in 2009. The Breitling Montbrillaint 01 Limited watch will be released in two editions, 200 in rose gold and 2,000 in steel. As with all of Breitling’s watches, the Montbrilliant 01 Limited watch is certified by the Swiss Official Chronometer Testing Institute (COSC). These two watch editions are scheduled to be released at the Baselworld 2011 Show in March.

The face of these watches will also have Breitling’s stylized “B” logo from the 1900’s as a nice historical touch.
