‘The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo’ Sports Jewels by Stephen Webster

Everyone is abuzz with talk of Rooney Mara, the actress who will play “Lisbeth Salander” in one of the season’s most anticipated films, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. The first movie from Stieg Larsson’s bestselling “Millennium” trilogy was released in movie theaters nation-wide yesterday and was directed by none other than David Fincher, director of other movies such as Fight Club, Se7en, and The Social Network.

The costume designer for the film, Trish Summerville, chose for Stieg’s dark and complicated heroine to be adorned with a selection of Stephen Webster jewelry throughout the film. Summerville commented, “We wanted her to be really authentic . . .
