Top Five Engagement Rings for 2012 from King Jewelers

Dec 26, 2012

Now that it’s almost 2013, we usually take this time to reflect upon our year here at King Jewelers. It’s been an exciting time in bridal for us what with our new collections from A. JaffeMemoirePenny PrevilleRitani, and Vatche. Below we’ve lists our top five popular styles for the year and one thing has been made clear; 2012 is the year of the halo (the border of diamonds around the center diamond)! Hands down our halo engagement rings were the most popular style this year with an emphasis on clean and classic designs too. Check them out for yourself!

1) Norman Silverman Double Cushion Halo Engagement Ring

Why go with one halo when you can have two? This beautiful design from Norman Silverman chose a cushion-shaped center diamond with an extra emphasis of two cushion-shaped diamond halos to make the diamond look twice as big! Additional diamonds have been set on the split shank band for a very big look in this engagement ring.

2) Penny Preville Sophia Brilliant Diamond & Pave Engagement Ring

We love Penny Preville’s engagement rings because of their intricate details and romantic designs. However, this sweet Sophia ring shows that classic engagement ring styles are still very much in demand. This setting will show off that center diamond in either white or rose gold or platinum with pave diamonds on the band just to give this ring that extra sparkle.

3) King Jewelers for Forevermark Double Halo Round Diamond Engagement Ring

Another double halo engagement ring for the win! This particular design comes from the King Jewelers private collections and incorporates Forevermark’s new “Center of My Universe” concept which focuses completely on halo designs. The double halo serves to emphasize the exquisite brilliant-cut diamond exclusively from Forevermark.

4) Ritani for Forevermark Brilliant Diamond Halo & Platinum Engagement Ring

What’s not to love about this ring design? Made exclusively for Forevermark diamonds by Ritani, this engagement ring shows off a truly classic halo design with an extra diamond nestled under the head of the ring for an extra modern element of surprise. The split shank also helps to guide the eye to the center Forevermark diamond.

5) Tacori Dantela Round Diamond Halo Engagement Ring

Tacori is known for their vintage inspired designs and this halo engagement ring is no exception. The halo is much smaller and serves as a stage on which the center brilliant-cut diamond is displayed. Additional diamonds are set into the shank of the ring with delicate milgrain details and swooping arches on the top and the bottom of the band.
