What Has Derrick Been Up to During Quarantine?

We went ahead and asked a series of questions to our elite jewelry experts to learn a little bit about what they have been up to this quarantine! In this blog, we will be introducing the one and only, Derrick Thomas.

How long have you been in quarantine?

“Two-and-a-half, almost three weeks.”

What is the first thing you do when you wake up in isolation?

“The first thing I do is have me a cup of coffee, and I wonder how I am going to start the day. Because being quarantined is no fun.”

What are three things you are thankful for right now?

“I am thankful that I am in good health, that I can still work a little bit remotely from home, and I am thankful that during this time of quarantine, there are plenty of things that I can get caught up on around the house.”

What are some of your lock down hobbies?

“I’ve been focusing on getting my yard and pool manicured for the most part.”

What's your favorite quarantine snack?

“Some of the things I don’t need like chips and cookies.”

What shows have you been watching this quarantine?

“Well, everybody has been talking about this Tiger King, and I have finally started it. And I’ve been watching the news. I also finally got caught up on The Voice.”

If you could give you past-self advice going into quarantine, what would it be?

“To prepare for the worst, but expect the best.”

What's the first thing you're going to do once your imprisonment is over?

“Go out to a restaurant. I really miss going to Char.”

What is your favorite watch or jewelry brand at the moment and why?

“Right now, I have been wearing my Breitling Superocean Heritage the most. I love the functionality and the look of it. The best part is how comfortable it is.”
