What Has José Been Up to During Quarantine?

In an effort to help you to get to know our team, King Jewelers would like to introduce some of our Aventura team members. We went ahead and asked a series of questions to our elite jewelry and watch experts to learn a little bit about what they have been up to this quarantine! In this blog, we will be introducing our Director of Marketing, José Aguayo.

What is the first thing you do when you wake up in isolation?

“First thing I do is take 5 minutes to meditate. Clear my head, fire up the coffee pot & start the day!”

What are three things you are thankful for right now?

“1. Being able to have my wife, daughter, and dog so close these days.

2. To have the opportunity to contribute to our business in any way during these unprecedented times.

3. That we are fortunate to have a roof over our head, food on the table, and an opportunity to be productive every day.”

What are some of your lock down hobbies?

“Lots of self-educating. Everything will be different after this event so we all have to be ready to adapt to the “new normal”

What's your favorite quarantine snack?

“Oreos.”

What shows have you been watching this quarantine?

“Restaurants on the Edge on Netflix.”

What's the first thing you're going to do once this is all over?

“Run straight to the beach and enjoy the water!”

What is your favorite watch or jewelry piece and why?

“The Girard Perregaux Laureato blue dial in stainless steel. The tone on the dial is spectacular and the proportions of the timepiece are perfect in my opinion. It’s probably one of the most tasteful “daily wearers” in Horology today.”
