Founded in 1830 in Les Bois, Switzerland by brothers Louis-Victor and Célestin Baume, the company earned early acclaim for precision, winning distinctions at the Kew Observatory chronometer trials. In 1918, Guillaume Baume partnered with watchmaker Paul Mercier to establish Baume & Mercier in Geneva. Across generations, the Maison has remained devoted to the balance of tradition and modernity that continues to define its collections today.
