Bell & Ross Information and FAQ
About Bell & Ross Watches
Bell & Ross is a French watch brand headquartered in Paris, with Swiss Made production based in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland. Founded by childhood friends Bruno Belamich, an industrial designer, and Carlos A. Rosillo, a business manager, the brand is built around a simple philosophy: function shapes form. Bell & Ross watches are instrument-inspired tools designed for professionals working in extreme environments — pilots, divers, and military and bomb-disposal units — known for their bold legibility, military-grade durability, and the brand's signature "circle in a square" case, inspired by aircraft cockpit instrument panels. King Jewelers carries Bell & Ross for collectors drawn to purposeful, aviation-driven design and Swiss precision in a distinctly modern package.
History of Bell & Ross
Bell & Ross began as a university project in Paris between two childhood friends, Bruno Belamich and Carlos A. Rosillo, who shared a vision for building functional, durable watches designed for professionals rather than pure luxury. Their earliest timepieces were produced in partnership with the German watchmaker Sinn, sold under the label "Bell & Ross by Sinn," before the brand transitioned to independent Swiss production in La Chaux-de-Fonds. The turning point came in 2005 with the launch of the BR 01, a square-cased watch directly inspired by aircraft cockpit instrument panels, which became the brand's defining design and cemented its identity in aviation-driven horology. Since then, Bell & Ross has expanded into diving, military, and everyday-wear collections like the BR 03, BR 05, and BR-X series, while staying rooted in its founding principle that a watch's form should always follow its function.
Bell & Ross Collections
BR03: This collection of watches is made up of four main variations that cater to professionals of the land, air, and the sea. The BR03-92 Auto is the ideal aviation instrument that can be worn on the wrist of some of the toughest pilots in the cockpit. The BR03-92 Diver is not only one of a kind, but is the very first square-shaped Diver watch created by Bell & Ross. The BR03-93 GMT is not only ideal for globetrotters and aircraft pilots, but for any watch lover who needs to keep track of multiple different time zones. The BR03-94 Chrono was designed specifically for military personnel by meeting the brand’s four fundamental principles: legibility, functionality, accuracy, and reliability.
BR05: This collection of watches focuses on sleek and modern design while still serving a specific demographic. The BR05 Auto highlights an integrated design with ideal dimensions for everyday wear accompanied by comfortable style and supreme reliability for the city life. The BR05 GMT is the very first dual time watch model in the 05 collection, featuring a more contemporary design and sleek finish that is perfect for urban jetsetters. The BR05 Chrono is iconic to the 05 collection because of its impressive chronograph movement that helps keep track of the fast-paced urban lifestyle.
BRV2: This collection of watches utilizes a more traditional watch design with a round case. The BRV2 Auto has a standard three-hand movement with a bi-directional rotating bezel for supreme timekeeping. The BRV2-93 GMT is equally as modern as it is functional, as it has the capabilities to keep the time in three different time zones simultaneously. The BRV2 Chrono is centered around the beloved chronograph movement with its fixed graduated bezel and tachymeter scale. The screw-down crown and push buttons makes this timepiece completely water resistant.
