Bell & Ross is a French watch brand headquartered in Paris, with Swiss Made production based in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland. Founded by childhood friends Bruno Belamich, an industrial designer, and Carlos A. Rosillo, a business manager, the brand is built around a simple philosophy: function shapes form. Bell & Ross began as a university project in Paris between two childhood friends, Bruno Belamich and Carlos A. Their earliest timepieces were produced in partnership with the German watchmaker Sinn, sold under the label "Bell & Ross by Sinn," before the brand transitioned to independent Swiss production in La Chaux-de-Fonds. The turning point came in 2005 with the launch of the BR 01, a square-cased watch directly inspired by aircraft cockpit instrument panels, which became the brand's defining design and cemented its identity in aviation-driven horology. Since then, Bell & Ross has expanded into diving, military, and everyday-wear collections like the BR 03, BR 05, and BR-X series, while staying rooted in its founding principle that a watch's form should always follow its function.
