The brand is famous for its Regulator layout—where the hour, minute, and second hands are separated into different axes—and for its frequent collaborations with legendary watchmakers and artists like Vianney Halter, Alain Silberstein, and Konstantin Chaykin.

1929: Founded by Louis Erard and André Perret in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland, originally as a watchmaking school and case manufacturer.
