CHOPARD SWISS LUXURY WATCHES FOR MEN AND WOMEN

Chopard’s luxury timepieces are a seamless blend of meticulous in-house calibers and overall elegant watch design. Each masterful timepiece can be admired for its gold, platinum, stainless-steel, or diamond-studded watch case encompassing a highly-complicated watch movement.

Chopard timepieces are a seamless blend of quality craftsmanship and timeless elegance. Chopard’s watches attract the attention of timepiece enthusiasts around the world for their high-precision in-house movements that feature specific sought-after complications, such as minute repeaters, perpetual calendars, and tourbillons. Something else worth noting about Chopard watches is that they eloquently combine luxury watchmaking with high-end jewelry. We admire these timepieces for their innovative technology as well as their artisan craftsmanship. Many of Chopard’s designs feature gold or platinum watch cases that are embellished with precious diamond details.

Chopard’s Happy Sport collection of timepieces showcases eye-catching diamonds that effortlessly float and dance about the dial. In addition, the watches that make up the Imperiale and La Strada collections radiate a more feminine aesthetic that make perfect statements and complement both evening wear, as well as business attire.

Chopard watches for men are equally as elegant, but boast a more simplistic design. The L.U.C. collection of men’s timepieces is most intriguing because it offers a wide range of models. This series has everything from simple two-hand watches to a chronometer-certified watch with 14 highly-sought-after complications. Then, of course, there’s the sporty Chopard Mille Miglia, Grand Prix de Monaco Historique, and Superfast collection of timepieces. These classic racing watches showcase designs that are heavily influenced by the dashboards of race cars from the past and the present.

Chopard Swiss luxury watches have something for every type of timepiece lover around the world. The Chopard brand has remained true to its core values and never compromises the quality of their premium timepieces. For more than 150 years, Chopard has preserved its spot among one of the world’s most successful independent watch and jewelry-making companies.

Chopard Information and FAQ

History of Chopard

Chopard was founded in 1860 by 24-year-old watchmaker Louis-Ulysse Chopard in Sonvilier, Switzerland, where he built a reputation for high-precision pocket watches and chronometers, eventually supplying timepieces to clients including the Swiss Railway and Tsar Nicholas II of Russia. The company passed through three generations of the Chopard family before Paul-André Chopard, having no heirs interested in the business, sold it in 1963 to Karl Scheufele III, a German watchmaker and goldsmith from Pforzheim. Under Scheufele family ownership, Chopard evolved from a watchmaking house into a full luxury jewelry and watch brand, introducing its now-iconic Happy Diamonds collection in 1976 — featuring diamonds that float freely between sapphire crystals — followed by the Happy Sport collection in 1993 and the Mille Miglia collection in 1988, inspired by Karl-Friedrich Scheufele's passion for classic car racing. In 1996, Chopard opened its own manufacture in Fleurier to produce in-house L.U.C. movements, named in tribute to founder Louis-Ulysse Chopard. Today, Chopard remains independently owned by the Scheufele family, led by siblings Caroline Scheufele and Karl-Friedrich Scheufele as co-presidents, and continues to produce both fine watches and jewelry entirely in-house in Switzerland.
