Jack Mason is an American watch brand founded in 2015 and based in Dallas, Texas. Every watch is designed in Dallas and assembled in the United States by the company's own team of watchmakers, with movements hand-regulated before they ship — an unusual level of domestic involvement at this price point, and the core of what the brand set out to do.

The current lineup is built around mechanical watches with real specification behind them: Swiss La Joux-Perret and Japanese Miyota automatic calibers, 316L stainless steel and Grade 2 titanium cases, sapphire crystals with hardness coating, and water resistance of 150 to 200 meters. Power reserves run from 42 hours on the Strat-o-timer GMT models to 68 hours on the Canton and Pursuit Pro.

Jack Mason was founded in 2015 in Dallas, Texas, with an explicit goal: to rebuild American watchmaking. Commercial watch manufacturing in the United States largely collapsed in the decades following the Great Depression, and by the mid-twentieth century almost none of it remained. The brand set out to re-establish the country as a place where watches are actually made rather than simply branded.

The early years were built on accessible, design-led sport watches — field, diver, nautical, and aviation pieces that drew on mid-century American forms. Over time the brand moved steadily upmarket, replacing quartz with mechanical calibers and shifting assembly to its own watchmakers in Dallas. Today each watch is designed in Texas, assembled in the United States, and hand-regulated before it leaves.

As co-founder Peter Cho puts it, "What we make is shaped as much by discipline as it is by imagination. If it carries our name, it has to earn it." That standard shows up in the details the brand chose not to cut: sapphire crystals across the range, 200 meters of water resistance on the sport models, and a five-year warranty that is among the longest offered at the price.

Strat-o-timer GMT: The brand's travel watch, powered by the Miyota 9075 true-GMT caliber with an independently adjustable local hour hand and a rotating 24-hour bezel. Offered in a 40mm and a 42mm 316L stainless steel case, water resistant to 200 meters.

Strat-o-timer Titanium Diver GMT: The same Miyota 9075 GMT movement in a 40mm Grade 2 titanium case and bracelet — noticeably lighter on the wrist, with 200 meters of water resistance.

Pursuit Pro: Built for the backcountry. A Swiss La Joux-Perret G101 automatic with a 68-hour power reserve in a 42mm steel case, anti-magnetic, hardness coated, on a nylon strap. The only anti-magnetic model in the range.

Canton: The dress-leaning line. A 39mm steel case with a Swiss La Joux-Perret G100 automatic, 68-hour power reserve, date window, and a choice of three-link or seven-link bracelet, water resistant to 150 meters.

Jack Mason watches carry a five-year warranty from the date of purchase, covering manufacturing defects under normal everyday use, with Jack Mason covering the cost of repairing or replacing defective components. The warranty does not cover damage beyond normal wear and tear, accidental damage, everyday scratches, water damage where the crown was left open, leather straps, or repairs performed by an unauthorized service center.
