The Canton is Jack Mason's integrated-feeling everyday watch, and the one that dresses up most easily. At 39 x 46mm it sits in the size range most people find genuinely versatile — substantial enough to read at a glance, slim enough to sit under a cuff.

It runs the Swiss La Joux-Perret G100, an automatic with a 68-hour power reserve and a date window. The case is 316L stainless steel with a 6.5mm crown, a fixed bezel, and a hardness-coated sapphire crystal, water resistant to 150 meters — not a dive watch, but well beyond what a dress watch normally offers. Assembly and hand-regulation happen in the United States.

39mm has become the reference point for a genuinely versatile watch: large enough to read instantly, small enough to disappear under a cuff. The measurement that actually decides how a watch sits is lug-to-lug, and at 46mm the Canton stays comfortable on smaller wrists as well as larger ones.

The movement

The Canton runs the Swiss La Joux-Perret G100, a self-winding automatic with a date function and a 68-hour power reserve — well beyond the 42 hours common in the segment, which means a watch left off the wrist over a weekend does not need resetting.

Built in the United States

Designed in Dallas and assembled in the United States by Jack Mason's own watchmakers, with each movement hand-regulated before it ships — part of the brand's stated ambition to help re-establish American watchmaking, which largely disappeared in the decades after the Great Depression.
