Collection: Venezianico Redentore

The Redentore takes its design from the Basilica del Redentore, the masterpiece of Venetian architect Andrea Palladio, father of the neoclassical style. The harmony of its shapes and proportions gives the case an elegant, contemporary line that wears equally well dressed up or down. Cases are 316L stainless steel in 36mm, 42.2mm lug to lug and 10.4mm thick, or 40mm, 46.7mm lug to lug and 11mm to 11.5mm thick, under anti-reflective sapphire crystal.

Movements are Japanese automatics: the NH35A on the Avventurina, Diamond and Ultrablack, the NH39A regulator on the Enigma and the NH05A on the off-center Bellanotte. The 40mm models are water resistant to 50 meters and the 36mm models to 30 meters. Straps are genuine Italian leather, and the Redentore 36 Diamond is fitted to the steel Canova bracelet.

Redentore is also the name of one of Venice's best-loved festivals, held each July to give thanks for the end of the plague of 1576, the event for which Palladio's church was built. The Redentore Bellanotte puts that night on the dial: St. Mark's Square after dark, with the Doge's Palace and the Basilica di San Giorgio Maggiore in rhodium-plated bas-relief among aventurine, mother-of-pearl and satin-finished fireworks. The Redentore Enigma is Venezianico's first regulator, separating the hours onto a 24-segment counter from the central minute hand.

Every Venezianico Redentore is covered by Venezianico's two-year warranty from the date of delivery, valid internationally when the watch is bought through the brand or an authorized retailer. It covers manufacturing defects that affect the watch's proper functioning under normal use; normal wear and tear and cosmetic damage such as scratches and dents are not covered. Coverage stays with the watch if it changes hands during the warranty period, provided proof of purchase can be verified, and it does not renew on transfer. Leather straps are wear items.
