The AWAKE Son Mai Frosted Leaf Lagoon pairs a handmade Vietnamese Son Mai lacquer dial in layered blue and green with a 38mm 316L stainless steel case. Each dial takes about 15 hours to make by hand, built up in layers of Son Mai lacquer, natural pigment and pure silver leaf. The hands and indexes are lit with Super-LumiNova BGW9. Inside is the Swiss La Joux-Perret G101 automatic movement, running at 28,800 vph with a 68-hour power reserve and visible through the sapphire caseback. The case measures 44.75mm lug to lug and 11.5mm thick, with a screw-down crown and a slightly curved anti-reflective sapphire crystal. It is fitted with a blue Maison Bouveret nubuck calfskin strap with a rubberized lining, quick-release spring bars and AWAKE's Fitwell M1 micro-adjustable buckle. Water resistant to 100 meters.
