The Blue Planet tells time without hands: CIGA Design's self-developed CD-04-E automatic drives an Asynchronous-Follow display in which an hour compass and a rotating minute ring converge on a single point, at 3Hz with 21 jewels and a 40-hour power reserve. The dial is a CNC micro-engraved topographic relief of the Earth in silver and blue, coastlines and mountain ranges standing in genuine three dimensions, with Nemoto LumiNova on the markers. A domed sapphire crystal sits over the globe and a second sapphire opens the caseback. The 46mm case is mirror-polished 316L stainless steel, bezel-less and lug-free, on an ocean-blue 22mm fluororubber strap with a 316L steel push-button hidden clasp. Water resistant to 30 meters.
