The Atlantic Edition turns the Blue Planet's globe to face the Atlantic, so the Americas sit opposite Europe and Africa across the dial. CIGA Design's self-developed CD-04-E automatic drives the Asynchronous-Follow display, where an hour compass and a rotating minute ring replace conventional hands, running at 3Hz with 21 jewels and a 40-hour power reserve. The Earth's surface is CNC micro-engraved in topographic relief in silver and blue with Nemoto LumiNova on the markers, under a domed sapphire crystal, with a second sapphire over the caseback. The 46mm case is mirror-polished 316L stainless steel, bezel-less and lug-free, on an ocean-blue 22mm fluororubber strap with a 316L steel push-button hidden clasp. Water resistant to 30 meters.
