The Massena LAB Absinthe is a limited-edition timepiece created with independent watchmaker Raúl Pagès, featuring a hypnotic green dial in a sleek 38.5mm stainless steel case. It is powered by the caliber M690, a Swiss-made, manual-winding movement with hand-finishing, a 60-hour power reserve, and a small seconds subdial at nine o'clock. The emerald dial draws inspiration from nature and from the art and literature of 19th-century Paris, when absinthe—actually a Swiss invention—enjoyed its golden age. Through the sapphire caseback, the M690 reveals a broad plate with Côtes de Genève finishing, hand-chamfered bridges, and overlapping perlage surrounding the tortoise-shaped poinçon Pagès. Production of the movement is overseen by Pagès and carried out by a small network of Swiss watchmakers.
