Inspired by the Regency era, the elegant sandstone-grey resin barrel features fluting reminiscent of a classical column, complemented by Jane Austen’s signature. The grey-blue cap echoes the double-collared coats worn by gentlemen like Mr. Darcy in Pride and Prejudice. The ballpoint features gold-coated rings and platinum-plated fittings. The Roman numerals XLIII are engraved on the cap ring referencing the chapter where Elizabeth Bennet first sees Mr. Darcy’s estate.
