The Nivada Grenchen Antarctic GMT is powered by a Swiss-made SOPROD C125 automatic movement (date, 28,800 vph, 25 jewels, 42-hour power reserve) with an independent central GMT hand for tracking a second time zone, housed in a 36mm 316 stainless steel case with polished and satin-brushed finishing, measuring 11.1mm thick and 42mm lug-to-lug. A faithful homage to the brand's 1970s Jet Age original, its matte black dial features shiny silver applied indexes with Super-LumiNova, the signature red-and-black 24-hour GMT hand, and a contrasting amber-toned internal 24-hour bezel, all beneath a flat acrylic crystal that heightens the vintage appeal. A closed caseback with penguin engraving and gold medallion completes the build, with 5 ATM (50 meters) of water resistance. Fitted on a black racing strap (20x16mm) secured by a 316L steel pin buckle with push-button deployant clasp.
