Inspired by Michigan's mid-century modern marvels, the Shinola Canfield Model C56 echoes the General Motors Design Dome and the spirit of automotive design from the same era. Hand-assembled in the Argonaut Building in Detroit — where cars were built from 1928 to 1956 — this 43mm timepiece pairs a brushed stainless steel case with a distinctive barrel screw-down crown and detailed coin-edge bezel. The Continental Blue dial features welded-on Arabic numerals, mountain-shaped hands, and a Shinola orange seconds tip. Driven by the Detroit-assembled Argonite 715 quartz movement and finished with a 20mm British Tan grizzly leather strap (made in Shinola's Detroit factory). Sapphire crystal, 5 ATM water resistance.
